Meet Dr. Alexander Bowden

Dr. Bowden grew up in Fenton, MI attending Lake Fenton schools and graduated as Valedictorian of his high school class. He went on to complete his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Michigan-Flint, through the Honors Program. During his studies, he was actively involved in volunteering in his community and serving as the representative of the Pre-Dental Club.

Following his undergraduate program, he began his journey to become a dentist at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Bowden gained experience in clinical care at the dental school and outreach programs including Detroit Receiving Hospital, elementary schools, and multiple offices in Grand Rapids with the Cherry Health Community Health Center. Working in different clinics provided him experience with a variety of patient needs, including children and the medically compromised.

Dr. Bowden began working at our office in August 2022. Also In the fall of 2022, Dr. Bowden married his wife, Sydney, who he met during his undergraduate studies. Sydney is a Spanish teacher at Swartz Creek High School and also teaches dance classes. Outside of work, Dr. Bowden enjoys playing guitar, working out, and going on walks with his dog and wife.
